The Refugee Journey
The life cycle of a refugee starts when a person realizes that his or her present conditions are hostile to getting to a place of safety, stability, and some degree of self-actualization. Refugee is not a choice, but rather a status, and it does not mean that the people who are refugees are failures. Every single story is different depending on individual lived experiences and social-political environment.

The TRJ aims to educate communities about various refugee topics, the lived experiences of refugees, and the myths and realities they face, with the intention of dispelling misconceptions and influencing policy recommendations in different countries.
The TRJ seeks to inform, empower, and influence refugees, host communities, and policymakers to help refugees become change agents for overcoming adversity and positively transforming the lives of refugees themselves and the communities they live in.
